Kayda & Zach Drop A Major Update About Their Relationship After Love Island
Consider all that label drama over!
As all Love Island USA fans know, the first few weeks after a season ends are always the biggest test of the relationships that were carefully incubated in a secluded Fijian villa. Season 8 stars Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse seemed especially wary of this real-world shift towards the end of their villa days, with Zach famously refusing to call Kayda his girlfriend before the two properly dated in the real world. And now that the reality TV bubble has burst, Zach and Kayda gave fans some big updates about where their relationship stands now.
On Aug. 19, Kayda let it slip in a TikTok video that Zach had moved to Los Angeles, and was currently living with her. Not only that, the couple is also residing with Zach’s older brother (and Love Island USA Season 7 star) Charlie. “And yes, I am living with Zach right now. We are also living with Charlie,” Kayda said. “I’m living with the Georgiou brothers!”
In that video, Kayda also called Zach her boyfriend, with Zach confirming in the comments they had indeed taken the leap to boyfriend/girlfriend since the show. They’ve reiterated the new label in a few videos since. The couple and Charlie have provided a few glimpses into their palatial new L.A. home, which appears to be a luxury rental based on sponsored posts Zach has shared. And Kayda has said her boyfriend and his brother are taking care of all the finances.
Despite being one of the longest-lasting couples in the Season 8 villa, Zach and Kayda’s future after leaving Fiji seemed to be in question, largely due to the significant backlash Zach received from viewers. Fans of the eventual winners Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum, for example, turned on Zach when he seemed to try to dissuade his bestie Bryce from continuing a relationship with Trinity. His resistance to calling Kayda his girlfriend also caused some viewers to second-guess his intentions, but now that Zach and Kayda have officially taken that step, it seems like those island worries have totally washed away.
