It hasn’t been easy saying goodbye to Stranger Things. Despite the beloved Netflix series releasing its epic conclusion on Dec. 31, fans have not stopped talking about the show and have even come up with conspiracy theories to keep the story going.

Creators the Duffer Brothers have confirmed that a spinoff series is in the works, which will continue the story of the fictional Hawkins, Indiana. Until that drops, you can always relive some of your favorite Stranger Things moments by visiting filming locations from the show in Georgia. Even though production also used places like New Mexico for Southern California and Lithuania for Russian locations in Season 4, you’ll find most of the Stranger Things filming locations in the Atlanta metro area.

Since Season 1, the Netflix series has called Georgia its home, and while some spots like Hawkins High School were demolished after production wrapped in late 2024, many still exist for fans to visit today. You just need to know where to find them. The party may have struggled to locate Will in the Upside Down, but you’ll have a better time navigating Atlanta with this map of Stranger Things’ most popular filming spots. All you need to do is get your BFFs on board.

Plan a Stranger Things-inspired trip while visiting as many places as you can each day. Take Instagram pics while wearing an ‘80s-inspired romper like Eleven’s from Season 3 or re-create your favorite scenes for a TikTok video. Not only can you visit the pool where Billy Hargrove was a lifeguard, but there’s even the Starcourt Mall and eerie Creel House featured in Seasons 4 and 5 among this list of 25 Stranger Things hot spots. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time for an adventure to the Upside Down and back.

Of course, the one thing missing from Stranger Things was a creepy Victorian Gothic-style dilapidated house for the kids to explore. Luckily, Season 4 introduced the Creel House, which is actually the Claremont House IRL and located in Rome, Georgia. This gorgeous home was the Claremont House Bed and Breakfast for 16 years, but closed in 2019. You can still check out the location on your Stranger Things locations tour, but be mindful that it’s now a residential home.
